Biography

About the Artist

Talgat Daulbekovich Dosmanov was born on May 12, 1989 in Stepnogorsk, Akmola Region. He drew extensively from childhood and began his studies at a children’s art school. During his school years, he also received a qualification in Interior Design at a vocational training center.

From 2007 to 2011, he studied Fine Arts and Drafting at Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov. From 2011 to 2015, he worked as a teacher of drawing and painting at the Karaganda Humanitarian College. In 2011, he participated in the painting of the regional mosque in Karaganda, and in 2012-2013 he worked on museum interiors in Karaganda, Lisakovsk, and Astana. From 2012 to 2016, he was a member of the creative group “Lilac Monkey.”

From 2016 to 2022, he studied at the I.E. Repin St. Petersburg Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Faculty of Painting, in the studio of Professor V.V. Zagonek, specializing in easel painting.

From 2023 to 2026, he worked as a trainee artist at the Russian Academy of Arts in the monumental painting workshop led by Vera Andreevna Mylnikova. He also teaches privately, offering Composition, Painting, Drawing, and Comic Creation. He is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has been a regular participant in group exhibitions since 2009. His works are held in museums and private collections in the USA, China, Russia, Norway, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, and other countries.
